Phragmipedium Jason Fischer 'Rod's Ruby'

Jason Fischer 'Rod's Ruby' - Possibly a tetraploid - two blooms are open here on one spike - just before the older bloom fell. Although a sequential bloomer, occasionally an older bloom will remain on the spike for two or three days after a new one opens. One of the finest Jason Fischer's I have seen with intense red coloration. This photo was taken the second time it bloomed.
