Phragmipedium Mem. Dick Clements 'Blaze' - another vibrant red clone

Another first bloom seedling. Deep, dark, rich red coloring with the typical downy surface on the petals.This clone of Mem. Dick Clements is a vigorous growing compact plant that branches at the base, without the "runners" so often encountered in besseae primary hybrids. The blooms are borne on strong stems that are held erect.
