Phragmipedium czerwiakowianum 'Emerald Giant'

This plant was a pleasant surprise. Grown from a seedling out of flask, it grew in leaps and bounds and flowered in two years - with a spike over three feet tall. The nicest surprise was that the flowers are of superior form with fantastic coloring. It is a true whopper. The first bloom had a natural spread of just barely under 18 cm.
