Phragmipedium fischeri 'Rod's Amethyst'

One of the newly discovered species in the past few years. This plant and flower are reminiscent of schlimii, but with a rounder form, and lavender coloration. It is a great grower and easy to care for. It will be interesting to see the difference in coloring and form of offspring when this species is substituted in crosses that have been previously been made with schlimii.
